Razaullah, also widely reported as Razaullah Mashwani or Razaullah Khan Mashwani, is a young Pakistani cricketer who rose to international prominence in September 2026 following an extraordinary Test debut against England. The Pakistan Cricket Board officially lists him as Razaullah, born on April 5, 2005, in Mardan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Other recent reports say his family originally came from Nehag Dara in Upper Dir and moved to Mardan when he was about two years old.
Razaullah’s cricket journey began away from the major stadiums and professional structures. He started playing tape-ball cricket in Mardan before making the transition to hard-ball cricket. His early exposure to the game helped him develop the pace and aggressive batting style that later became central to his professional career. According to his coach Akmal Khan, Razaullah was particularly passionate about bowling and consistently focused on improving his game.
His family played an important role in his development. His father encouraged him to concentrate on cricket and work hard, while his five brothers supported his ambitions. His elder brother Samiullah was especially influential, helping ensure that Razaullah went to a cricket academy rather than following the same manual work that Samiullah had undertaken. This family support helped him move from local cricket into organized competition.
Razaullah Education
There is currently very little reliable public information about Razaullah’s formal school education. Major reports about his rise have concentrated on his cricket development rather than naming the schools or colleges he attended. As a result, specific claims about his academic qualifications should be treated cautiously unless confirmed by Razaullah, the PCB or another reliable source.
What is well documented is his cricket education. Razaullah joined the Akmal Khan Cricket Academy in Mardan during the 2022–23 season, where he received structured coaching and continued developing as a fast bowler. Coach Akmal Khan has described him as a hardworking player who remained focused on his game and avoided shortcuts.
Razaullah also benefited from further specialist cricket development through Pakistan’s National Cricket Academy. After his progress at the Mardan academy, he attended a fast-bowling camp and was reportedly named the player of the camp. His development through these cricketing environments ultimately helped put him on the radar of Pakistan’s selectors.
Razaullah Career
Razaullah’s professional career developed rapidly through Pakistan’s domestic cricket system. His teams have included Mardan Under-19s, Abbottabad Region Under-19s, Abbottabad Region, Peshawar Region, Pakistan Gold, Oil and Gas Development Company Limited, MIT Solutions and Rawalpindiz, according to the Pakistan Cricket Board. He is a right-handed batter and right-arm medium-fast bowler.
His performances in domestic cricket helped him move closer to the national setup. He subsequently became associated with Rawalpindiz in the Pakistan Super League, giving him exposure to a higher level of professional cricket before his international breakthrough. Reports also highlight his pace as one of the characteristics that attracted attention from coaches and selectors.
The biggest moment of Razaullah’s career arrived in September 2026, when he made his Pakistan Test debut against England at Edgbaston. He took Joe Root’s wicket with his fourth Test delivery and finished with four wickets in the match. He then produced a remarkable batting performance, scoring 81 runs from 63 balls with nine sixes, while sharing a 121-run ninth-wicket partnership with Mohammad Abbas. The nine sixes equalled the record for most sixes by a batter on Test debut.
His Edgbaston performance immediately made him one of the most discussed young names in Pakistan cricket. The ICC highlighted his fearless approach against England’s pace attack, while reports from Pakistan described the reception he received after returning home. His Test debut therefore marked a major transition from promising domestic cricketer to international player.
Razaullah Personal Life and Family
Razaullah comes from a family with roots in Upper Dir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, although he spent much of his upbringing in Mardan after the family relocated there. His father supported his cricket ambitions, and his brothers played an important role in encouraging him throughout his early career.
One of the family members specifically mentioned in reports is his elder brother Samiullah. According to AFP reporting, Samiullah wanted Razaullah to pursue cricket rather than follow a difficult manual-labour path and helped him reach a local cricket academy. His other brothers also supported his development.
Razaullah has kept much of his private life away from the public eye. There is no reliable confirmation that he is married or has a wife or fiancée, and no confirmed information about children has been established in reputable reporting. Because he has only recently become an international cricketer, much of the online interest surrounding his personal life remains ahead of the verified information available about him.
Razaullah Age, Religion, Nationality, Height and Physical Appearance
Razaullah was born on April 5, 2005, making him 21 years old in September 2026. He is Pakistani and represents Pakistan in international cricket. The PCB lists him as a right-handed batter and right-arm medium-fast bowler. Recent reporting describes him as tall and strongly built, with his physical frame complementing his fast-bowling style. A precise height has not been reliably confirmed by the PCB or major reports, so commonly circulated height figures should be treated as unverified.
Razaullah is generally described by secondary biographical sources as Muslim, although detailed information about his religious practice has not been extensively documented by major cricket authorities. His nationality and cricketing identity, however, are clear: he is a Pakistani cricketer representing the Pakistan national team.
Razaullah Social Media Presence
Razaullah’s popularity on social media increased sharply after his Test debut against England, particularly following his 81-run innings and four wickets at Edgbaston. News reports noted the growing social-media attention around the young cricketer after his breakthrough performance.
However, a verified official Instagram handle for Razaullah has not been reliably established in the sources reviewed for this biography. Several social-media accounts may use his name, but they should not automatically be considered his official account. Readers should therefore verify an account through an official Pakistan Cricket Board profile or Razaullah’s own confirmed channels before treating it as genuine.
Razaullah Net Worth
There is currently no officially disclosed figure for Razaullah’s net worth. Unlike established international cricketers with years of contracts, endorsements and franchise earnings, Razaullah has only recently entered international cricket, making online net-worth figures particularly difficult to verify.
His professional income can come from domestic cricket, PSL participation and payments associated with representing Pakistan. He was part of the Rawalpindiz setup in the 2026 PSL, and Pakistan’s professional cricket structure provides players with income through franchise and cricket-board arrangements. However, his individual contract value has not been reliably published in the major sources reviewed.
For that reason, a precise net-worth estimate would be speculative. The most accurate description as of September 2026 is that Razaullah’s net worth is not publicly known, although his international breakthrough and growing profile could significantly increase his future earning opportunities through cricket contracts, franchise cricket and potential endorsements.
Razaullah Legacy
Razaullah’s long-term legacy is still developing because he has only just begun his international career. Nevertheless, his route from tape-ball cricket in Mardan to Pakistan’s Test team has already become a notable part of his story. His rise demonstrates how quickly a domestic player can attract national attention when pace, persistence and performance come together.
His Test debut at Edgbaston gave him several memorable early-career milestones. He dismissed Joe Root with his fourth Test delivery, took four wickets in the match and scored 81 runs from 63 deliveries, including nine sixes. His aggressive innings helped Pakistan avoid an innings defeat and produced a 121-run partnership with Mohammad Abbas.
The significance of Razaullah’s early career will ultimately depend on what follows his breakthrough. For now, his story is defined by rapid progression, raw pace, powerful lower-order batting and the support of his family and coaches. His September 2026 Test debut has established an important starting point from which the rest of his international career will develop.
Conclusion
Razaullah’s biography is the story of a 21-year-old Pakistani cricketer whose journey moved from tape-ball cricket and academy training in Mardan to the international Test stage in a remarkably short period. Born on April 5, 2005, and developed through Pakistan’s domestic system, he announced himself against England at Edgbaston by dismissing Joe Root with his fourth delivery, taking four wickets and scoring an explosive 81 with nine sixes. While details about his formal education, exact height, private relationships, Instagram account and net worth remain limited or unverified, his cricket achievements are already well documented, making his Test debut the defining chapter of his biography so far.
