By the time she was 12, she had already appeared in numerous films and had taken on significant roles.
Her childhood was also affected by the death of her mother, Afor Franca Mugalla, who reportedly died in 2019. Following her mother’s death, Pearl experienced difficult circumstances and spent part of her childhood living with her grandmother in Warri. As she grew older, Pearl continued her education beyond her early secondary-school years. Her progression from a child actress to a young adult has included a continued interest in education, even while she remained connected to entertainment.
Recent reports in 2026 indicated that Pearl was attending university and took part in a university cultural-day celebration wearing Fulani-inspired traditional attire. However, reliable public sources have not clearly confirmed the name of her university or her exact course of study. Her current educational details should therefore be treated cautiously until she or her institution provides confirmation.
